ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

As we prepare for returning back after Hajj-e-Baytullah, we should also start reflecting and preparing to make it a Hajj-e-Mabroor, which I consider has two major portions: performing the required rituals with humility and the impact it has on our life.

We have completed the rituals physically, but each one in their own private self should reflect—was it done with the humility that it requires? Take a few moments to reflect on this. And if you even slightly believe that an action of ours might risk our Hajj being accepted as Mabroor, then seek Allah’s forgiveness and give a small sadaqah—whether it be a few riyals or 2 rak’at of nafl salah.

While reflecting, be sincere and honest with your own self. As I reminded myself and others in my brief session yesterday, Hajj-e-Mabroor is not about the performance of the ministry, the service provider, or even about Precious Path—it is only and entirely about each one of us as individuals.

There’s no guarantee we’ll ever get this opportunity again. Just remember how blessed and fortunate we are to have been invited to Hajj-e-Baytullah, while millions of others—despite having the means—have not received the same invitation. سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّٰهِ

As I’ve mentioned in our webinars, Hajj is a rigorous journey. But if we complete it with sincerity and without blemish, perhaps we may earn the status of a newborn—pure and sinless—as mentioned in a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Most of our group has reached safely back to their houses and families, ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ, and the rest will be reunited in a few days, بإذن الله.

Now, we must begin focusing on the second part of Hajj-e-Mabroor—making this journey of a lifetime a life-changing experience. We should reflect on what spiritual or practical changes we can implement. Each of us knows what we need to work on—so let’s begin. We don’t know if we’ll ever receive another invitation to Hajj-e-Baytullah. Let’s make the most of this one.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّٰهِ
